LABOUR WELFARE DEPARTMENT

The Labour Welfare department in the district was established in october 1997.The department works for the welfare measures of working group in the society under the Labour and Industrial laws of Central Acts and Rules.

There are some beneficiary schemes in the department under Centrally Sponsored Scheme(CSS). the schemes are:

1. Child Labour Awareness Scheme.
2. Women Labour Awareness Scheme and 
3. Research study Scheme.

In all these schemes, Ministry of Labour, Government of India gives financial assistance upto 75% of the genuine projects.
